Summer Service Day: Lunches for Micah

Care Portal Training
Join us on June 28th before church at 8:30am in the Copper Shop for training on the Care Portal system to connect the foster care community to local churches.
CarePortal is an online platform that connects child welfare agencies, schools, pregnancy centers, churches, businesses, and more to facilitate local, proactive, and effective care for kids. This collective impact has already made significant progress through it's preventative, relational efforts to reverse our nation’s foster care crisis and radically change the system, and our society, for the better.
Come to a short training/info session to learn more about this impactful system and how our church can join the Fredericksburg network to love and care for our vulnerable neighbors- meeting needs, forming relationships, and helping prevent family separation. Family Meeting

CG Kids Camp 2026!
Get your kids ready for a downpour of delight!
At Rainforest Falls, kids explore the nature of God! Rainforest Falls is filled with awesome Bible-learning experiences kids see, hear, and touch!
Kids Camp will run from 6-8pm starting Monday, July 13th until Thursday, July 16th at our church at 1501 Washington Ave. Dinner will not be provided, so make sure to eat before you come. We will provide snacks, games, music, teaching and FUN! We hope your child will join us!
Children 4 years to 5th grade (students finishing 5th and about to enter 6th grade are welcome!)

Who We Are Membership Course
Are you new or new(ish) to Common Ground? We would love for you to come hear more about what we believe and Who We Are! This is a mandatory course for anyone wanting to serve our CG Kids area and very informative time for anyone looking to join up with what God is doing here among us.
You can register here and then join us on Wednesday evening, June 3rd! Dinner will be provided, and childcare is available upon request!

American Red Cross Blood Drive
Common Ground Church is partnering with the American Red Cross to host a blood drive on Wednesday, June 3rd from 11:00 AM–5:00 PM. If you are healthy and willing, please consider donating lifesaving blood to someone in need.

Baptism Course
Join us for an in-depth course on the theology, practice, and purpose of baptism. Whether you have been baptized or not, this course is designed for everyone. Together we will look at the baptism of Jesus as well as the Great Commission when Jesus sends his disciples out to teach the Good News, baptizing all who believe. We will discuss New Testament passages from Paul, Peter, and Luke, as well as diving into the practice of the early church and the writings of the Didache.
Our goal is that at the end of this course you would know what the Bible has to say about baptism as well as be prepared to share the good news of Jesus with others.
This course is open to all ages. Light refreshments will be provided and the course will run about 2 hours. Our hope in this study is to share stories, follow Christ, and train up the body to make disciples. Registration is open!
