Isaiah is the most quoted prophet in the New Testament, and for good reason. "Behold Your God" (Isaiah 40:9) is a short and arresting statement about where Isaiah locates comfort - in God's character rather than changed circumstances. Over six weeks, this survey walks the whole book — from the courtroom indictment of Chapter 1, through the throne room vision of Chapter 6, the Immanuel promise, the siege of Jerusalem, and the Servant Songs, to the new heavens and new earth of Chapter 65. Each 90-minute session pairs teaching with discussion, tracing how an eighth-century prophet spoke to kings who trusted armies instead of God — and how his words still confront misplaced trust today. No prior knowledge of Isaiah is required for this class - just a willingness to read, consider, and wrestle with God's Word. Adults and high school students are welcome.

This is a six-week course on how the risen Christ gives himself to his people through the Holy Spirit. We wonder, how does the Holy Spirit help us know and follow Jesus? The Gospel of John answers that question with remarkable depth and beauty. In this six-week course, we'll trace the Spirit's work from Jesus' baptism to his resurrection, exploring themes of new birth, worship, living water, the Helper, truth, and mission. Together we'll discover that the Spirit never draws attention away from Christ but always leads us more deeply into his life, presence, and mission. This course is designed for anyone who wants to grow in their understanding of Scripture, deepen their relationship with Christ, and be formed as a disciple through thoughtful teaching and meaningful discussion. This course is open to adults and high school students.

The title of this course is intentional – prayer takes PRACTICE, no matter how long we’ve been at it.  Come join friends who share the desire to:

• meet God in prayer more intentionally;

• pray as Jesus prayed;

• explore ideas that can help develop private prayer rhythms that actually fit into life’s current realities; and

• grow more comfortable praying out loud with other believers.

Together we’ll enjoy the presence Jesus promises “where two or three are gathered” in His name.
